Tanyigbe Senior High School’s
25th Anniversary durbar was held on Saturday, 15th of
October 2016 at the E.P. JHS park, Tanyigbe-Kpodzi.
The event started at 10:00 am
with the inspection of the guard of honour, marked by the school cadet corps.
Present at the ceremony were the Deputy Minister for
Education in charge of Tertiary Education, Hon. Okudjeto Ablakwa, two Deputy
GetFUND Administrators; Mr. Ben Dere & Mr. Atsu Dafeamekpor, and Mrs. Diana
Adiko, member of the GetFUND Board.
Others were the Regional Director of Ghana Education Service
– G.E.S, Ho, who also stood in for the Volta Regional Minister as the Guest of
honour, the Ho Municipal Director of G.E.S, Prof. Dennis Dzansi, Lecturer at
the Central University of Technology, South Africa.
Prof. Kofi Anyidoho was the guest speaker and Justie Costant
Hometowu chaired the ceremony.
The Tanyigbe Old Students Association (TASSOSA) also donated a set of Brass Band to the school.
