13 Tanyigbe SHS Students Suspended For Misconduct


A total of thirteen students of Tanyigbe Senior High School (TASHS) have been suspended for engaging in serious acts of misconduct, according to an official notice issued by school authorities.

The disciplinary action affects nine final-year students and four first-year girls, who were found guilty of leaving school without permission and spending nights in a guest house, among other infractions.

Suspended Final-Year Students (Form 3):

  1. Marfo Samuel (Visual Arts)
  2. Akorley Caleb (Visual Arts)
  3. Musah Bilal (Visual Arts)
  4. Afenyo Esmond Mensah (General Arts)
  5. Dawud Salman Faris (Visual Arts)
  6. Owusu Theophilus Opare (Visual Arts)
  7. Fiagbor Jeron Mawuli (Visual Arts)
  8. Quarshie Melody (General Arts)
  9. Aidoo Natasha (General Arts)

Punishment: Indefinite suspension
Offence: Leaving campus without permission, spending nights in a guest house, and other related misconducts.

Suspended First-Year Students (Form 1):

  1. Daniella Okai (Home Economics)
  2. Mensah Jacklyn (General Arts)
  3. Seidu Adizatu (Home Economics)
  4. Ofori Rosemary (General Arts)

Punishment: One-month external suspension
Offence: Unauthorized exit from campus and time spent in a guest house.

The school’s administration emphasized that the decision was made in line with its commitment to upholding discipline and protecting the image of the institution. Authorities also called on parents and guardians to collaborate with school management to ensure proper student behavior both on and off campus.

Further investigations and disciplinary reviews are expected in line with Ghana Education Service (GES) regulations.
